I spent the better part of my college years working in a skate shop building boards and selling shoes. Bear in mind, I have never skateboarded, nor do I possess the requisite balance or agility to skateboard. You learn a couple of terms like “trucks” and “rails,” and everyone assumes you know what you are talking about.
